I wouldn't touch the trees.

They probably have a problem with tent worms which can do severe damage to trees. There was an unusually large infestation this year in Virginia due to droughts in past years. You have to spray the tents before the caterpillars get out. The season has now passed here. The water park should spray at the first sign unless they don't have the budget for it.

Catch them and sell them at the local store, or maybe donate a couple to the local museum.

It's outside....it's nature.....there's gonna be bugs. Is the water park supposed to spray for these kinds of things?
