I just got back from Thailand and I had meetings with a couple dudes for work and they both had really long pinky nails- why? whats the deal? Im just curious..........

seriously, lets be real these are old dudes and they aren't druggies - Im thinking its a type of status thing? he has money so he doesn't have to work so hard so he can have long nail(s) I don't know it seems cultural at this point now opium or coke induced

Those are called Coke nails. Act like a spoon for sniffing. Although I would never jump to conclusions for why a person decides to do what they do. You can never ASSUME anything based on generalities.

LOL are you serious? This was a big thing in the US in the 80s. The long pinkie fingernail is what you snort coke with. Bearing in mind you were in Thailand, they may be snorting opium with their nails instead of cocaine, but thats the only reason I can think to grow one nail longer than the rest.

I know of a few guys that did drugs & were drug dealers that had long pinkie nails. The ones i knew were all coke heads, used it to sniff coke easier.

Take it from a serious ex-party animal, it's for coke or some other substance to sniff up the nose. Been that way since the 70's.
