Why do you guys try to prove these pointless arguments? The point is, Clinton was a great president to you and me. To others he was the anti-Christ. You could have God himself endorse a democrat and the conservatives would still have a problem with them. Then again you can turn the tables if God endorsed Republicans, Democrats would still vote democrat.
People are too concerned about the BS in politics and need to focus on what's most important. Why do you care if gays can be married or not if you aren't gay? The nation's economy on the other hand really is important, but it isn't easily debate-able because EVERY president did something good for the economy if you look at it from some specific angle. They were all horrible from another angle. Abortion is abortion, it doesn't matter who is president, you will always be able to have one. I'm against it, but hey again, it doesn't really affect my life one way or the other. Foreign affairs, I refuse to believe that the American people want to hear that our deficit is getting ridiculous at the cost of $100 billion trying to rebuild a country when ours needs plenty of help. And then there is the red necks racists that ALL vote Republican. Gun control, don't even get me started. The point is a larger percentage of Democrats have heard gunshots that have killed a person than Republicans. I am against guns because stupid people get their hands on the guns and kill good people with them. Republicans feel that guns are for protection and hunting, which is also true. If they haven't lost family members from gunfire than of course they wouldn't be against it.
Bottom line, these are all pointless arguments because it is all about what you have experienced in your life. If people would just get off of the Republican and Democrat crap, life would be so much better. If people would start realizing that there is no such thing as a moral politician life would be better. If people realized some things will never change like the right to bear arms and having an abortion it would alleviate so many more debates. IF people would stop oversimplifying things like being against the war in Iraq meaning you are against the military, or that those people think Saddam wasn't a bad person things would be awesome. Saddam is a horrible man, but he isn't as bad as half the African nations leaders or even North Korea who actually could one day be a threat to us.

He inherited a booming economy, where tax revenues were increasing greatly year after year, and the (then fiscally conservative) GOP Congress was tight with the pursestrings.
If he was so good, how come he started with a boom and ended with a recession?
Did you also know he campaigned on tax cuts for the middle class and turned around and gave us the biggest tax increase in history? He also signed the law that opened up Social Security income to taxation. Wasn't that nice of him?
So, while the tax revenues jumped, by the time he was done screwing us, we had us a recession.
And most of us conservatives are not happy with the spending habits of Bush and the current GOP congress.

Uh yeah, and he's also the reason that we have a shortage of military (shutting down bases left and right) and why N Korea is actually a threat (killing the "star wars" missile defense project).
I never really hated Clinton, but I thought I'd try to balance out your argument (scary thought huh?). I don't particularly like Bush Jr either; I think they've both had issues. Maybe someday we'll get someone who can make it 4 (or 8) years without a scandal or huge embarrassment. ;)

He didn't do anything until Congress changed hands.
Give the credit where it belongs. Clinton was just along for the ride.
What is this love affair with a man who never received a majority of the popular vote?

Every cut back came with a price. You Democrats blamed Bush for crappy Protection for our soldiers, well, what who's orgianal cut back was that? I think it was the guy who reduced oru budget by over 600billion. That's not the only sacrifice Clinton made for our country.
And last time I checked, war's cost money.
Do more research smart guy.

He stopped hiring the usual Whitehouse compliment of call girls.
Clinton cut back the Whitehouse staff by 900 people. That's a lot of unemployed call girls.
Happy birthday Mr President.

Yes, and now we're trillions of dollars in debt. I feel sorry for the younger generation. There will be hard times ahead about 20 years from now unless something drastic is done to get us back on track. Our "credit card" debt is out of control!

Yes,
I miss those tax and spend days a a conservative.
These borrow and spend policies are just a bit much for me.
Maybe Ms. Clinton will run, then we can start paying our bills as opposed to just dumping them on our children.

Oh, but Bush brought back "intergrity" to the White House!! I guess it doesn't matter about the budget as long as gays aren't allowed to marry. Bush is so ridiculously inept!

He didn't reduce the budget you moron, the budget kept growing. What went down was the deficit, thanks to the Internet bubble and the tax revenue collected from that pyramid scheme. Jeesh, do we have to teach you everything?
