i heard that bronwn sugar mixed with lemon juce can be used as a alpha hydroxy peel instead of the chemical stuff? is this true? dontl ike putting al lthose chemicals on my skin, some even make it even worse they are so harsh

It takes a lot of lemon over a long period of time to reduce, not remove age spot appearance. My mother uses it.
As to the brown sugar and lemon, I would suggest lemon juice and orange peel extract followed by a good rinsing and finish with a honey mask. The citrus is a peel and the honey moisturizes.

Brown sugar and fresh squeezed lemon,both are acidic in nature and are excellent in the break down of dead skin cells and natural oil build up. Burning of your face should not occur if you only use this stringent occasionally and/ or periodically. Wouldn't recommend on a daily basis, however because the lack of chemicals, natural is always better in any combination. Thank whoever told you about this it is an excellent alternative to those chemical companies idea of masking. Remember frequent use could cause an increase of oil production, watch out for overuse increasing your problem.

Lemon Juice being a natural cleanser and brown sugar a dye, stains the skin like they did in the war to cover over their legs. Also Demeter Sugar and lemons to exfoliate

yes i have read it in a book, if u put only lemon juice then your face will be burning like fire. and with sugar it does not burn.

i havent heard about that.. but i have heard and done raw egg with ciniman.. the egg dries and pells off black heads and dry skin.. not sure what the ciniman does.
