I'm scared of letting people go. The reason is my boyfriend died in Febuary, and ever since then, every time I get close to someone, I can't stand to say good-bye. But even with that said, I went to camp and got a "boyfriend", but you know how camps go, I may never see or hear from him again, and it's killing me. And not only that, I'm really attatched to places and things that happen, kind of like taking full advantage of everything. Is this good? And how can I stop getting so attatched?

I used to be like that. You just have to put into your mind that you are just fine without anyone else, and no matter what happens, you are going to be there for you, and that's all that matters. Tell it to yourself until you convince yourself.

You haf to give yourself time hon,I think everyone has had this problem in one form or another wheather it's a car they don't want to part with but they know they are not going to get it fixed or letting go of a relationship that they know isn't moving anywhere,It sounds like to me you fall to quick b4 you give yourself time to heal,so try and give yourself time to take care of you first.
