I want to get my belly button pierced and my parents are okay with it and said they would take me to get it done but we don't know how old you have to be inorder to get it done with a guardian.

They don't care as long as parents sign.. I got mine done when I was 13? I think.. not sure lol.

The laws are different for different states, in Illinois it's only 16, but I think in most places its 18 (without a guardian), but with a gardian I'm pretty sure it's 16. Make sure you research how to care for a belly button piercing, belly buttons are very sensitive and can get easily infected.

I have a friend she is 16 and she has her belly button pierced and I think she said she was about 14 or so when she got it done

In Wisconsin 16 w/parents/guardian or 18 when you're legal.

As long as you have a guardian sign for you, I don't think they care how old you were. I got pierced when I was 12, 15, and 16, and as long as my parents signed for me, they didn't care.

I think that you can be 14 with a guardian...and then once you are 18....you can go on your own!!!

they can go with you a sign a waiver. Normally you have to be 18 without consent from a parent.

My ex girl got hers pierced when she was 13. she say she did it during her summer camp.
