ok. theres this boy and i have been friends with him for 14 years. we used to live right across the street from each other and we would be inseperable. but then i moved away. my grandparents still lived there so i got to see him every once and a while but it was never the same. his dad shot himself and his mom just recently got married again im so happy for them but they have to move. i cryed and cryed and cryed, so the main point of this story, i think i might like him. even though it is so strange for me to say i think that i always have and i have a feeling that he does to. i see all these movies where long term friendships from childhood turn into marriage and i just wonder. i dont know if i should tell him or not because i have a boyfriend right now...im afraid that i wont get to see him now that hes moving. what should i do...what should i say? i dont want to lose him forever...

please help me

just tell him how you feel. It's better to regret doing something than not doing doing it. At least you'll have an answer. Do you want to spend the rest of your life wondering how he felt about you, if things might have worked out between you, etc? Go for it!! Good luck.

You should leave him alone since you have a boy friend all ready.
However, if things don't work out with the boyfriend you will always have regrets about not talking to the other guy and you will always wonder what if and it will drive nuts. So what I think you should do is go talk to him and let him know how you feel about him. It's 2006 its okay for girls to make the first move every now and then. Chances are he is trying to be respectful about the relationship your in. Good Luck and go talk to him before it is to late. But be respectful of the boyfriend and his feelings.

Tell him how you feel. It would be sad to lose a 14 year friendship just because he is moving away. Even if it does not turn in to a Hollywood movie and marriage, you will still have one of the closest friends of your life for the rest of your life. Something like that is too great to lose. Whether it ends up dating, pen plas, e-mails, whatever, a close friend is important.

Go ahead and tell him how you feel!!!

You don't want to cheat on your boyfriend. That would not be fair for anyone. However, you should ask him his email address so no matter where he goes or where you go, you can keep track of eachothers. If it doesn't work out with your current boyfriend, contact that guy.

p.s. If you want to get answers next time, summarize your thought a little. Your post is too long.
