We bought the American Sign Language Book to use with and for our daughter(she's not deaf, just learning disabled and won't or can't talk) the signs in the book are easy to understand and learn a few at a time. It's worth the money to buy the book, or do as others here said, borrow it from the library.

You can go American Sign Language, they have everything you will need to learn sign. It is a beautiful language; I love talking with my hands anyways so it is great to watch whole conversations going on with hands.

I'm not there web address, but I do know if you "google" it you will find their web site.

Have fun and enjoy learning another language.

It would be easier to pick up a sign language dictionary at your local bookstore. It can show you most of the signs you would need to hold a basic conversation.
