The last line is my cover so judge me & I'll vote best to the one who is most accurate. I'll know because I wrote my book :)

Why? Because it is easy to do. Judging someone's appearence can be done instantly upon mere momentary visual inspection.

So, I could spot hundreds of hot chicks per hour. But, if I wanted to determine if a person was "hot" on the inside, I would have to spend countless hours gettings to know them - and I'm way to lazy to do that.

In my opinion, ppl simply judge you based on their first impression, the first look rather than the first word you say.. if you have the bling², you must belong to the hip hop guys, if you wear branded stuffs, they'll know you are wealthy, if you smile they know you're friendly, if you have pimples they know you don't really care about cleanliness, if you stumbled a lot they know you're such a clumsy person.. if you have the look than they'll know you hang out with the cool/popular people... but i dont really thing that that's the case, you don't simply judge a person by the outter personality but what's the zest & jist of them... there's always have been two sides of a person, the sinner & saint, the hypocrite & contented... we are such judgemental person because that's we do, to differentiate between the good and the bad... ppl are so vunerable in judging others.. no one is perfect, some ppl just don't get it... it's sad!

Not sure what you are talking about. If you mean why do people judge a person before they get to know them. Well simple it all has to do with belief, perception, race and ethnicity. Someone who has had a bad experience dealing with let's say, mexicans, sees a mexican walking down the street, the person will make a judgment based on her past experiences and her beliefs about that ethnic group, but once she meets and gets to know the person, her perception might change and realize that she judged wrongly.

First impressions. When you look at someone, you don’t see how smart, funny, stupid, or dangerous they are. You see the face, the clothes, the motion, and perceive them to be a certain way. Stereotypes have a lot to do with that. If you see a person dressed in all black, you automatically think Goth, depressed, suicidal, weird. But that’s so wrong. That person could be lovable, fun, and cool, and just wear black cause it’s their favorite color. But it’s also to do with our natural instincts. By seeing what someone looks like, we can approach or avoid them depending on our own securities.

I think that we initially make this judgement due to a lack of information. Our first impression is our first piece of information in which to make any judgements. That judgement can the be refined by later exploringing the person/issue. Take for example, dating. We often start with a first impression or judgement regarding them. Begining with this snap judgement we decide to persue or not persue the individual to learn more. Learning must begin somewhere.

Because it is human nature, we have been raised by hypocrites. "Don't judge people." they all shout in our faces, then when you bring an emotional friend home "I don't like them. They look like a druggie."

Sorry if I am bitter, but I am having a bad day.... ta ta!
