No, it's not. There are some racist people there, sure. But, there are racist people of all races in every state. The South is not as backward as they used to be and they're not all racists either.

Well it depends really where about in mississippi your talking about. I live north east part of mississippi. And yes it gets quite racist in the small towns up here. Tupelo is not so bad. where i was from originally in cleveland, ms its not bad at all. Well because the ratio is different in the delta around that area. I think it is mostly how these folks were raised around here. Since I came from a majority black school I am not racist. But then again around here they are not just racist to black it is anyone who is not white really. That sounds awful to say, but I call it as I see it.

Every place in America is racist. They're just more open about it in certain places like Mississippi. But if you think there's no racism anywhere else but in the south you're crazy.

No, southern cities and states are part of an ancient negative stereotype-
try the small towns of northern states like michigan and wisconsin for a change

yeah there are some racist there but not everyone. Those people are still ignorant and stupid
