There's a great rumor going around about this: Guess who are the agents for Renaldo Balkman and Mardy Collins? That's right ... LeBron's agents! So there's a school of thought that Isiah took those guys as a show of good faith to LeBron's agents if they decided not to extend his Cleveland deal. I know how dumb that sounds, but remember, Isiah Thomas is involved. And there's no other scenario that makes sense for the Balkman pick.

That would be stupid. LeBron just sgned back on to the cavs and will more then likey play his whole career there. The cavs definitley wont workout a trade with Thomas either. Can Thomas even be that stupid? Probably.

i dont think it makes sense... lebron just signed a 3 year extension with the cavs... anyway you look at it, it's still lebron's decision and not his agent...
isaiah drafted balkman because he was a revelation in the pre-draft camps, and thomas really liked his defense and athletecism... but the fact of the matter is he could have drafted another player and just waited with their 29th pick to get balkman, coz there really was no team other than the knicks who were interested in taking balkman in the 1st round... thomas is in hot water right now and as of the moment he has made a lot of knicks fans angry, but im still hopeful that balkman will shut up his critics, we'll just see what happens...

No, because as said above Isiah is gone after this year. AND the NY Knicks are millions and millions of dollars over the pay roll and will be for some time to come. LeBron re negotiated his contract so he could get even MORE money then he was gonna get now. Even if he wanted to go the crap shoot known as the NY Knicks they wouldn't have anywhere near the kind of money he would want when he's a FA.

lebron is not dumb enough to play for a loser like the knicks he would better off with the nets if were going in that area the pistons could use him there are teams that are winners that lebron will go to. thomas drafted balkman because hes an idiot no other reason

To me it's a ridiculous rumor. The only speculation that I've heard is him possibly ending up in Brooklyn because he is good friends with Jay-Z, who owns part of the team. I foresee him staying his whole career in Cleveland though.
