That's a trick question because your father's only son doesn't have any brothers, unless the brother is the son of your mother and not your father, in which case the answer is your cousin.

Depends....In West Virginia, it would be the fathers brother. In Tennessee, it would be the fathers uncle. Alabama has already been answered. In North Carolina, it wouldn't matter, since everyone there is military and the military has a no gay and no sleeping around policy (neither of which are followed).

If a father had only one son, that son couldn't have a brother. So shut it.

No-one, an only son cannot have a brother, although they may have a sister.
Ha ha! I love these! Thanks for the brain teaser, I had to think about this for a few minutes.
I like this one as well:
A woman shoots her husband.
Then she holds him under water for over 5 minutes.
Finally, she hangs him.
But 5 minutes later they both go out together and enjoy a wonderful dinner together.
How can this be?
ANSWER:
The woman was a photographer. She shot a picture of her husband, developed it, and hung it up to dry.

Your father only has one son, so he can't have a brother. You almost got me on that one, I was about to put your cousin.

Impossible. My father's only son= one. So he can't have a brother.
If you could somehow do it it would be your cousin.

cousin or step cousin, or no relation to me.
my father's only son's brother must be my half or step brother.
his uncle's wife's daughter's brother's father is that same uncle or a step uncle to my half or step brother. his son is my half or step brother's cousin. That would make him my cousin, a step cousin, or no relation at all.
