I've been seaching the internet for info about max rpms of this engine. Can't find anything. Anyone know what kind of rpms this engine puts out?

Its a quadrunner atv if that makes a difference.

4 stroke, not that high i would say 6000 to 7500 max redline. it is a 230 quadsport right? they werent performance built engines.

If its the four wheeler it will rev to about 7,500 max but you'll probably break it doing that ona regular basis.
Hey luke, when you've worked on as many bikes as I have maybe you'll have some basis for your statement. The motor resembles a GS/DR125 but lower state of tune. dont know exact rpm but it isnt close to 12,000, even 10,000 is pushing your luck. you are a squid on a new bike, you know nothing of 1980's motorcycles/ATV's

i could give you an educated guess it would prolly be around 10000 stock if you put on upgrades maybe 12000 you could set the governer to let it go even higher but i wouldn't recomend that the person who says it only goes up to 7500 is full of it motors on atvs dirtbikes ect revv a lot higher than cars
