My parents won't let me either! What you can do Is go to the mall alone with one of your freinds(no adults),Go to a store where they peirce ears,(rember to bring money)Make a second hole and if your parents see(which they most likely will)Tell them you got it done at a Top class ear percing studio for free!Tell them you saved $100.00 by doing that. But don't show them the recept!!!

best wishes and good luck,

I think the easiest way to convince them is to find out why they are against it. Then you can address their concerns and make them feel better.
You could try bartering and letting your 2nd hold be a reward for some good thing you will do.
Are you trying to get your cartilage pierced or just your earlobe, b/c there are different health concerns with piercing cartilage that they may be worried about.
Are both of your parents against it? If not, try to wear one of them down and let them take you to get it done.
Explain to them the reasons that you want it done and maybe they will be convinced.

I have three holes in each ear.
My father didn't want us to get our ears pierced at all.
But I got the first one as a gift from a family member when I was fairly young. Then when I was in elementary school I decided I wanted a second one. Then when my older sister copied me and got a 2nd one I had to get a 3rd hole.
It sounds extreme, but most people never even notice that I have 3 holes in each ear.
I just wanted to do something different. I think he was finally OK b/c at least I didn't want to get my nose of tongue pierced.

Well I don't see the big deal....I mean they let you get the first pair....what is one more....there are worse things that you could be worried about.....I think that they should let you. If you are a good student and are a good child....then I believe that you should get a reward once in a while. I would try and tell them that you are willing to sacrifice something for a couple of months in trade for the ear piercings. Or maybe you could do more chores around the house to earn it.....In the end if your parents don't change their mind.....don't get mad and through a fit....be mature and calm about it....then the next time that you ask for something, hopefully they will keep that in mind!!

Show them some pics of pretty elegant people that have a second hole. I had to convince my 'rents too! It took me a while but I got them and my dad thinks they are pretty. Tell them that it's just a second hole and you are asking for their permission so it's not like your trying to rebel. But keep a good tone the whole time because you have to prove you are mature enough. Ask them to think about it or to give you reasons. keep them on their feet give them reasons that there reasons don't work...... but remember no attitude, my parents made me wait a year because I got an attitude.

Be kind to your parents. Do some extra chores. Act mature and responsible. Then ask your parents nicely and politely if you can get your ears pierced and explain why you want it. If your parents see that you are being very mature about it, they may be more willing to let you get it.

Umm. You should really follow your parents' rules. Having a second ear-hole isnt that big of a deal anyways so annoying them about it may make them pretty mad.

how old are you? if you're 18 just go do it urself. if ur 17 or almost 17 or 18 i'd just wait til ur 18 and not bug them. if ur younger than that buy the clip ons to show them that it will look nice. and u took care of ur first holes so u have responsibility. whatever u do dont say everyone else has them or whatever. it'll make them mad.

There is a pair of everything.

Man and woman
Husman and wife

and so two ears are also.

tell them its extra constructive than doing something like drugs or ingesting alcohol. Thats what I did and through the time i became 13 i had my ears triple pierced on the earlobes and my cartilage pierced.

You should tell them that Claire's pierces for free, so they won't have to pay for it, (that's true). And you should also tell them that you have been really responsible and you hardly ever ask for big things(if that's true to you). If that doesn't work, tell them that the sooner they say yes, the sooner you will stop bugging them.

Good Luck!
