I would like to donate my hair to ladies with cancer in Phoenix, Az. but i don't know where.would some one let me know where.

I don't know if you can directly donate it. But one of the girls that I used to work with cut off around 12 inches of hair and donated it to Locks of Love.

Check out the Today Show's (NBC) website. This morning they had actress Diane Lane on to cut her hair for donation. She's the chair/spokesperson for a new campaign speically for women who are in need of human hair wigs. When I donated my hair it went to Lock of Love. Do it! It's a great feeling! Go to a proffessional salon and tell them that you want to donate your hair. They will tell you how and if you are qualified to donate. You have to donate a minimum amount of hair. It can't be like 5 inches of hair. You have to donate a minimum of 8 inches I believe. It might be different where you live so ask the stylists at the salon!

you can print off a sheet with instructions on how to cut and mail your hair online

Locks of love.... they will cut your hair for you and donate it to those who really need it!! Go for it, i think it's great.

wow thats what i am doing too...you can talk to your hair stylist about locks of love you need about 12 inches at the most and i think 8 inches at the very least

Just tell your stylist you want your hair to go to lock of love and that should do it.
