Supposedly, a teacher is supposed to nomiate you, and they send you a letter. But I was in it all four years, and although I scored very well on my SATs and other diagnostics, I was a FAR cry from the ideal high school student. Most people view it as a scam... those who are willing to fork out the cash will always be asked again. No one pays attention to it.

Don't worry about who's who. Just be yourself and concentrate on your school work. I hated high school. Everyone was so worried about being mean to everyone else. I was just happy to get out of there. I was friends with some of the who's who and they were all stuck up and thought they were better than everyone else. Don't waste your time. In the end, they will all be working for the nerds or living off mommy and daddy.

You don't join your chosen, the best way is to be selected for the honor society in your school or make friends with your teachers so they can submit your name.
