Although this really is a theory that dates back to 1987, there has been no proof to support this. It was published in the London Times in 1987 in an article trying to ease people's fear of flying. Please follow the link below to read more...

I would think not. Many of the world's population do not have contact with donkeys on a daily or even monthly basis. I could imagine a donkey could kill someone if they kicked it to death, but they generally have a pretty mellow personality. They display their stubbornness when you try to make them do something they don't want to do, but overall-they are pretty mellow. Plus, they eat vegetation. Ultimately, I think more people fly than have contact with donkeys. I could be wrong.
