Straight scoop:
Necessity is the mother of invention.
Generally, folks who are motivated are motivated toward a particular goal - that is, they have something in their scope that is important enough for them to work toward...
I too, envy those people that know exactly what they want and just how to get there. I would guess that it boils down to defining your desired outcome and figuring out how to overcome all the BS obstacles that lay between you and your goals. Every quest, every venture takes you from a point A (here parked on your dead ***) through a series of events that all happen at the right time in the right order through to a B and C (BS hang-ups), then further to a point D or beyond (attainment of your goals).
Until we have a clear view of those goals, our lazyass psyche has nothing to work toward. The hackneyed phrase "eyes on the prize" is a valuable one...
But more important than that is perspective - when you can step back and encompass within your mind the whole of the event - start to finish - things that previously seemed huge and unattainable become active possibilities.
Try perspective.
Trust me - I'm a pop psychologist :)

give yourself a reward for each plateau you reach. And make it something small but something that you like. Like dont eat any chocolate for a long time then give yourself a little fancy piece of chocolate or something you want (go see a movie). And just keep thinking of the reward, and think of what you need to do to get that reward, and the faster you get it the better it is because then you can sit there eating saying "wow im halfway done". COmpleted work is your reward.

Everyone struggles to motivate themselves to do things from time to time. This almost always stems from 'not doing something' being the easiest, an in the first instance, most enjoyable option. You just need to tell yourself that whatever you want to do is worthwhile and get going! As soon as you start it'll suddenly feel much easier!

Alternatively bribe yourself!

Well motivate yourself to go back to school and use check spelling. That would be a good thing and not wicked . What you put into life is what you will get out of it.

Could be any number of things, without knowing what it is you
want to do being more specific is difficult, but maybe the above is a start ? ...

Be stubborn and think yourself that you have to do it. Sometimes we have to do things even if there is no motivation. So just try not to be lazy and be active. Once you keep yourself active, you would get motivation.

Try to compare yourself with others who are better than you. By comparison, we would get motivated.

If you want to motivate yourself to do something, whether it is evil or good, you have to have a reason behind the motivation and think about the consequences. If that isn't enough to motivate you to do it, then you probably won't, and probably shouldn't.

the longer you let this go on the harder it will be to get motivate.
say to yourself, I'm going to do one thing today/tomorrow or this

less wicket one first to give you confidence, and then take it from there. hope this helps best of luck.
