I would say I wasn't scared of death or the afterlife (should there be one - thats another question), but the act of dying doesn't thrill me. The though of beign dead is appealing, but the thought of dying isn't.

Does that make sense? And what are your views on death?

i tottaly understand. i dont fear death because im a christian and i bileve that i will go with god yadda yadda yadda. but and i qoute "dont fear death fear what comes before it" i follow this qoute. the thoguht of leaving this earth IS appealing considering all of the stuff that goes on but the way i die scares me. i dont want to die alone or something like that. so i guess i fear not death but dieing. i want to die knowing that i changed the world in some small way and had a good effect on people in this world

That makes perfect sense to me. Sometimes I believe in God, sometimes I don't. I doubt there is an afterlife, but I believe it is possible that God exists anyway. The living God.

I don't think anyone cares for the process of dying. If they do, they are in need of medical attention.

The most sensible belief to me is agnosticism-we really can't know something until we experience it.

If its true we really go somewhere else when we die then I am not scared I am curious to see what its like. But in the same sense I am afraid of leaving my family and my children here in the world while I am going to a "better" place.

The thought of dying or beng dead doens't bother me. I won't be here anyway. My soul will be with Jesus.

But it does scare me to think of leaving my family alone. I have 2 disabled in the house and worry aobut how they would survive without me.

Nope ! Not scared at all. It's the idea of not knowing what to expect after death. But then again, I've always been the curious type, so I'm kinda' looking foreward to it.

I think the only way to come to terms with dying is to have a ******* awesome life. Sometimes it seems like everyone is just waiting to die.

there is not an after life after you die, you know nothing and feel nothing. im not scared of death, its the effect it would have on everyone else, but if i were to die soon, i really would not want to because i already got a lot i want to accomplish

Yes I'm scared. I'm scared of not thinking--of not living. I just can't imagine it...
