It happened 3-4 wees ago when there was a small infection on my finger. I think it got irritated and now it is a "flat volcano" shaped protrusion that bothers me (about quarter inch diameter, 1/8th high). The skin is harder at that spot and has a yellowish color to it.

Cut a small square from a banana skin and tape it in place with the white side on top of the corn. The chemical in the banana skin will remove it with ease. Just change the banana skin ever 3-4 days.........also good for verrucas too! The painless way to remove them!

To help them heal, you can buy special doughnut shaped pads that let the corn fit right into the hole in the middle to relieve pain and pressure, which you can get at a pharmacy. There are also pads that contain salicylic acid, which takes off the dead skin to help get rid of the corn. If the corn sticks around for a while and keeps hurting, you may need to see a podiatrist

Well, first of all, I'd check with a Dr. to make sure it's a corn. If it is, I sucessfully used "Dr. Scholl's Corn remover" last year, on a corn on my foot. It took several days, but it did work, and didn't hurt!!!
