He seems a good actor to me. Not only he denied having said something bad about Zizou's mum, bu the came with an impressive argument: his mum died when he was 15. It makes people think: "poor him!leaving without a mum! he is an orphan of mum but still such a great man etc. etc.!"
But he admitted that what he said was a common insult on the football field, and as far as i know, most of the insults concern the family....so in a way he contradicted what he had previously said.
So his answer was just made up with the purpose to become a better person in people's view...

I think zidane needs education more than Materazzi . Uneducated sports stars tend to show stupidity and not being professional .

He basically said he still like Zidane, and that he lost his mom when he was fifteen. It is unbelievable to me that he had nerve to insult Zidane's mom, even when his own mom had passed away! That's just evil and cruel.
Materazzi probably knew that Zidane was going to head-butt him. In fact, he wanted Zidane to do that so Italy can win their champion, which no one is talking about or do we care.
