You got a deal, especially if it's a keeper league. As much as I like Wells, Howard is DA MAN, and I'd rather have Felix than Wang. Patterson is stealing bases, but his career stats suggest that the first half of '06 was an abberation.

Nice work! Maybe I should hire you as my fantasy team's GM...

Good trade. Even though Vernon Wells is having a career year, Corey Patterson and Wang suck. Ryan Howard is awesome and Felix Hernandez will be awesome this second half of the season.

BAD

Wells: overall rating (Yahoo) 27
Howard: overall rating 45
Wells is better in R, SB, and AVG. RBI's are neck and neck.

Wang: overall rating: 136
Hernandez: 109
The only thing you gain from Hernandez is K's. Plus Wang is one of the hottest pitchers right, who just happens to pitch for one of the best hitting teams in baseball...major run support. The Mariners have been shutout 9= games this year.

Patterson rating: 79
He has cooled off in the last few weeks, but the guy has 30+SB; very hard to find these numbers.

It looks like this trade was based on name recognition to me, and the fact that Howard won the home run derby. You should not have given up Patterson. Wells and Wang for Howard would be a closer trade offer. Also you have to look at the teams. The Phillies will most likely trade Abreu, less protection for Howard.

Here's what you gain: a few homers from Howard
and strikeouts from Felix.

You lose: Runs, average, SB (you're trading 40+ SB for 0) W, ERA, WHIP.

Trade players ranked: 27,79, and 136
for: 45,109. He picked up 2 players ranked higher and one of the hottest pitchers in the game. I would file a law suit.

The guy wit Howard got the better part of the trade. Howard is a little better than Wells and Patterson and Wang are better than King Felix.

I feel it's good. Howard and Wells are equal. Corey Patterson is going to flunk. Felix Hernandez is going to boom. Ching Ming Wang is going to bust too. So it's a good second half trade move.

Depends on what type of league you are in...what categories there are...keeper/redraft.
With Wells/Patterson you lose BA, SB, runs and Wells can hit some out.
Wang for Felix the Cat is a moderate upgrade but Wang hasn't been horrible.
All in all an OK deal.

Bad. Howard and Hernandez give you power, but you now lose Wang, a pitcher on a hot streak. Wang is on my team and consistently gets me points.

Well, if you needed Ks its good, but otherwise, I think Wells is just as talented as Howard and Patterson is a speed demon. I wouldn't have done it, but then again, I don't know the rest of your team.

Beautiful trade for you buddy! You won big. Howard and Felix are young STUDS and I think that V-Dub and C-Pat probably played over their heads in the first half.

No, Beltran likely will placed up slightly extra perfect numbers than Wells, and also you do not understand if hernandez is going to rebound this three hundred and sixty 5 days and characteristic a strong season. also Tom Gordon is getting previous and alongside with the actual incontrovertible truth that the cardinals are likely going to win extra video games than the phillies, isringhausen will likely finally end up with extra saves than gordon.
