I took my girl to a nice restaurant and pulled aside the waiter as I pretended to head to the bathroom. I had him put the engagement ring in my girls desert, with just a little shimmer showing. Took her totally by surprise and she nevewr forgot the moment.

On your anniversary rent a moon bounce. You guys can have a lot of fun bouncing inside. When you fall to the floor, which will happen eventually, take out your ring and propose to her. Afterwords, assuming she says yes, you can have a picnic on the grass, just to complete everything. But also be sure to make this idea your own. Add some personality, because she is not going to like it when she learns she got it off the internet.

Recreate your first date or the first time you met. That would be pretty original. She would appreciate the thought and planning involved as well.
Although a guy here just proposed to his girlfriend over the radio. He had flowers in the house with a gift and went out to his car in front of her house called the radio station she was listening to and they let him on air to propose. It was cute.

This is how my husband proposed to me 24 years ago. He set up a treasure hunt of sorts. I had to follow the clues all around town. It ended up with us going for a ride in a hot air balloon in the early evening with the sun just setting. It was so beautiful. He proposed in the balloon. It was special and I will never forget it.

call up a restaurant and make a reservation.and ask for the best bottle of wine or champagne.and have them tie the engagement ring around the stem of the glass.and while she's not looking un tie it and get down on one knee and ask her to marry you right there in the restaurant.trust me she will love it.

Find some pretty girl to do it with you... tell your girlfriend that you have been cheating on her with this other girl... wait for her reaction then have the other girl say "Just kidding, he wants you to marry him". I haven't heard of that being done yet.
