Drink plenty of plain water. One of the symptoms that your body is dehydrated is cracked lips. If any of the lip balms doesn't seem to work, you can try the normal Vaseline. It taste a little bit off if compared to other lip balms but it works just fine.

For chapped lips, I like to use a balm that contains cocoa butter. It feels wonderful and it seems to last a good while.

However, you say you have cracked lips, which sounds pretty serious--as if you are poorly hydrated or have had a fever. If you think there's something more to your condition than a bad case of chapping, it's worth having it checked out.

Vaseline every night before bed, and after teeth brushing in the morning.

Try to avoid lip balms that are flavoured - they'll just make you want to lick your lips which makes cracking worse.

A tiny amount of body moisutizer also works, but I do mean tiny. E45 is good.

Cracked lips are a sign of dehydration. Drink more fluids and use vaseline instead of lip balms-- they can dry off quicker

Drink at least 8 8oz glasses of water a day, and watch that disappear within three days. Never use chapstick again!
