What does OEM mean in business world? I am applying for a job and they keep referring to their OEM customers. Maybe I'm just brain dead right now.

One example would be say a company stops making parts for a certain thing.(moving on to new designs or whatever reason). but there is still a limited demand for those parts. What they do is licence another company to manufacture those parts and sell them in exchange for a percentage of sales or for a flat fee.

The only meaning I know is Original Equipment Manufacturer, has in Ford parts for your Ford car. As opposed to "aftermarket" performance parts for example.
