i think silver and gold colors will stand out on a dark skin and it will not make it look so tacky. instead, u will look beautiful and mature.
*one tip, too much make-up doesnt look good in anyone, it makes them look fake.

It depends on skin tone. Some african women have a lot of blue tones in the skin others have more olive. Those with blue skin tones will probably look best in cool colors. Those with olive skin tones will look best in warm colors. Experiment to find out which you are. All the best.

I beg of you to stay away from white eyeshadow....It looks terrible on everyone, not just African Americans! I would recommend and kind of gold or brown shades. It will look great! Good luck !

Milani is a good brand of make up(cream to powder) and where dark color shadows to bring out the eyes

subtle golds, darker colors with a little bit of shine (not powdery light purple stuff, for example). Liquid liner and cream shadows and whatnot.

tones that matsh your skin not real flash because of your skin tone it will make it look caked on try warm colors like light browns and apercots
