I wanted to wait but my man wasnt havin it. needless to say we did it and i got pregnant again within a months time of having my daughter...now im due in September 06 and im gettin an iud tihs time cuz im tired of being pregnant

Baby #1-we waited about 5 weeks, because of my 4th degree tear.
Baby #2-we waited about 3 weeks, because I was pretty well healed.
Baby #3-we waited about 3 weeks.
As long as you are no longer bleeding or having discharge, it should be ok. Just take it very easy the first time in. If it hurts at all, you will be turned off and scared to try agian. Make sure to use good lubricant, also.

I waited six week (would have rather waited longer)
it takes a while for everything to get back into shape down there, there are things that are hanging out that were never there before- I was mortified- but don't worry it will go back

We waited the six weeks every time. Frankly i was too tired from being a mommy and it was a relief for the Doc to tell us no sex for 6 weeks.

I was ripped and stitched, so yes I waited the full 6 weeks. Just want to add that the ducts and glands that make the natural lubrication are damaged in childbirth and take some time to heal so make sure to use lubrication for months to come :)

Well, it was about 4 weeks. I know it's kind of gross, but I had a c-section, and it wasn't going to bother an episiotomy or anything. We did it once, and then we waited the other two weeks before we did it again.

Baby number one- we waited about 3 1/2 weeks
baby number two- we waited only about 2 weeks
He was just too dang hot to resist, lol.

I waited...we got the ok at 6 weeks, butis was uncomfortable..tried 2 weeks later, and was ok

we actually waited 4 months after my first one and almost 6 months after my second one. I just was not in the mood

it was exactly six weeks after my baby i had sex i went for my 6 week check up and the gyno said that it was ok for me to go ahead and boy was i happy!!!!!
