I do not believe that this is true, however, I do believe that Bush has used 9/11 to foster a new era of feudalism (fascism). The parallels to 1930's Germany are exact.
Bush was not the first modern world leader to declare a "war on terrorism", or call his country the "homeland", or invade a nation based upon "pre-emptive" defense. That dubious honor goes to Adolf Hitler. Bush has followed the example very well.
Towers/Pentagon = Reichstag Burning
"Homeland" = "Heimat"
"Homeland Security" = Reichssicherheitshauptamt
New Secret Service Police = Schutzstaffel (S.S.)
The primary goal of a feudal state is the return of power to a noble class, while moving the rest of the population into economic slavery (serfdom). If you think that is far-fetched, have you checked the prices for houses lately? How about cars? Can you buy them with cash and be debt-free? Not all slavery involves chains and whips -- mortgages and credit ratings are very effective, especially when there's nowhere in the world to escape to.

I'm with you up until the gain power over the middle east. It is to gain control over American's. And no I don't think it was Bush, cause he isn't that smart. He is just a stupid puppet talking on his cell phone to the same people that sabatoged Senator Wellstone.
Bin laden and Bush are the same. The have deep family ties. Why else would Bin Laden's family be allowed to fly out of America right after the even occured when no other planes were flying? George Bush Senior has had ties to the Saudi's since oil was discovered there.
And why do people insist on relating 9/11 with our war in Iraq? We should have more troops in Afganistan if that was the truth. And we shouldn't have invaded Iraq until our Most Important issues were resolved, if that was the case. Sorry kid most people just blindly follow instead of read and seek out the truth for themselves. Like the government is going to tell us, "Yea we did it for oil, money, control and corporate interest."
Follow up with chimaera and Brandon F down a few people. Knowledge is power!

Only people with a mentality equal to a 4 year old.
Even yellow dog Democrats don't believe Bush was part of a conspiracy to pull off 9/11/01 ---unless they have the mentality of a 4 year old.

I think this is a sick and twisted way of rationalizing a tragic world event. Your friends need to stop and realize that the government had a break down and we suffered because we weren't on top of our game. It was important for us to re-emerge quickly and strongly in order to establish that we were not going to let an act like this go unpunished. The government is not perfect by any means, but they definetely did not set up a terrorist attack. That is just insane!!

Not a conspiracy, but an opportunity for the president to push his agenda in the middle east, or should we say an excuse. Why else would he attempt to link the al qaeda attacks with Iraq which had ABSOLUTELY no relevance.

He didn't cause it, he used it. Conveniently, it was well known that Osama bin Laden planned to strike America. Bush, seeing gold, not lives, played into it and, in a sense, let it happen. He deliberately turned a blind eye so that he could enter Iraq and finish some kind of business with Saddam Hussein, maybe get some oil as a bonus.

by no potential. that is in ordinary words a topic for those lefty wing-nuts who thirst for conspiracies. It became accessible in the course of the time of BDS (Bush Derangement Syndrome). they could have had adequate of this to fill an almanac in the adventure that they talked about each and each and every of the behind-the-scenes skulduggery committed by employing The Clinton Crime family individuals. yet, lamentably, the media did not dare bypass into aspect about those "pop icons". Conspiracy theorists have a tendency to be a touch extravagant (if no longer unhinged) percentage of society besides.

Osama Bin Laden has gone on video telling everyone that he was esponsible for September 11th, that he intends to do the same as often in the future as he can, and that the reason why is that he hates the West and everything that it stands for.
Occam's Razor is a principal in logic that the simplest explanation is probably the correct explanation.

I'm a conspiracy buff and I suspect that our government is behind a lot of weird stuff.
But your question is a little too far out there for me to wrap my brain around.
Besides...look at the piss-poor success rate we've got going on in Iraq and the rest of the middle east.
So, no, I don't think it is true.

Yes, I think Bush knew 9/11 was going to happen and he chose to do nothing to stop it so that he could use it as a pretext.
