I can't see how a blob of tissue is a life. And I also can't see how bringing a horribly deformed child who's life will be a living hell into the world, is a good thing.

First of all, the people did not create the life. That's like flipping on a light switch in a room and stating that you created light. They only conceived it, God created it.
Secondly, where are all the feminists on this? China has been determining the sex of the baby so they can abort the female babies for years, such that the birth is 10 males to one female, and I haven't heard any complaints from the them. What gives?
As for the rest of your question, if someone is willing to abort their baby for ANY reason, what difference does it make what the reason is?
You know, if you go to a doctor and ask him to remove your arm simply because you don't want it, he will refuse, stating that he cannot remove normal healthy tissue. He will say that his license would be revoked, because not enough people demand the procedure to make it popular and profitable.
Yet, this same doctor will kill a baby in it's 9th month (partial birth abortion) and have no problems with it, even though the baby is normal, healthy tissue, and a fully functioning, viable person who could live independently outside of the mother at that stage. And the reason the doctor will do this? Because enough people want it done so as to make it popular and profitable.
Many people say it's okay to abort an unwanted baby. The key here is not the abortion, it's the UNWANTED part. How much of your humanity do you have to lose to not want a baby enough to kill it?
On the other hand, maybe it's natural selection. I mean, if people are so destructive that they will kill their own seed, do we really want such sick people reproducing themselves among our population? I think abortion is some kind of self-preservation system that kicks in among the worst members of the society to help preserve the rest of us. It's wrong and it's bad, like war, but maybe it's necessary.

It all depends on the situation...If the situation is the baby is going to have serious medical problems which in turn are very expensive sometimes its nessary....If the baby is kept the money would be to keep the baby alive paying the medical bills well the baby also needs diapers and other needs if the parents cannot afford a decent life for the sick child then they have to do what is nessary and having an abortion might be the best choice..

People shouldn't do that, but some do.
Like China for example, they'll abort if they're pregnant with a girl because they want a boy (that policy that they can only have one child). Some other places are like that too (like India, I *think*).
Hell, some people say that if scientists ever find something that identifies a fetus as a homosexual, people'll probably abort so they won't have a gay child.
It's disgusting, really. Like they want to have a "perfect" child to look good, instead of having a child to love.
But hey, it's their baby, they can do what they want to it...

I am almost 30 and I haven't any kids yet. My fiancee' and I are being RESPONSIBLE. Most people look at an unwanted child as an annoyance or something they don't want to bother with. It's sad. Killing has become a way of life anymore look at world events. I never want to associate myself with people willing to destroy life for convenience purposes.

Yes, that's what free will and choice are all about. Let their gods sort it out for them in the after life. It's only your business if you're the one who's pregnant.

i think that would be very wrong , parents with the right intentions wouldn't care whatsoever how their child turned out as long as it was theirs
