Either phone the orange company for the puk code or take it to your local mobile phone store they normally charge about a fiver to unlock it

the puk code is on the sim card. you can use another orange sim card or if it is your sim you can contact customer services 07973 100150 and they will give you the puk code which is 8 digits.

You have to phone your network and ask them for the puk code, its annoying, but only they can give it to you.

If you have not set any 4 digit code, probably it is a factory setting. So my guess is that you may find a predefined code in your manual.
And have you tried Customer Care?

ring orange and get them to give you the puk code over the phone and the id code is usually ethier 0000 or 1234 these are default codes then you need to set up a new code after that
