my bf is a jerk. hes in jail, but i dont if i want to be with him or not anymore.we have kids and i believe my children will be sad.

you shouldn't be w/ a guy that is in jail (if guilty). but you really know if you don't wanna be w/ someone when you have absolutely no feelings for them at all. i see that you don't wanna leave him cause of the children but they can see their father occasionally or not at all. it depends on what you feel is right. if your kids are young, they will ask about their father in the future(if you decide to leave him).
i know that this is a tough thing to decide but i have faith in you.

Tough one, with kids involved. Why is he in jail? Is he a bad person? I always believe that when kids are involved you need to stick together. Kids need a Mommy and a Daddy. However that rule can be broken if staying together could be dangerous or hurt the kids in anyway. What ever you decide, remember that the kids are the most important. Keep them safe, do whats best for them. Everything else can be worked out.

Is your life better off with him or without him? Only you can decide this. Personally, a man in jail is not really a great candidate for having good values and influence over the children. Obviously, you want to move on, but you are needing approval from invisible strangers on the Internet. Make the deciding yourself. Good luck, dear.

How many time has he been in trouble with the law? how many time he goes to Jail??? and How long has be being Jerk? If all of them are more than just 2 ...then it time to stop loving him and find someone else.a nd Kids will be sad yes, but Kids will learn truth about the father who don't show how to be a good father and just breaking the law and going to jail all that stuff. not worth of yoru time to waiting for him or something. smiling.

if he's in jail and a jerk they are better off with out him. make sure that you take care of the legal aspects of the custody. the kids will be alittle sad but they'll understand completely when they're older. you have to do what is necessary to keep your children safe.

If your b/f is in jail and you stay with him for one more SECOND- you're too immature to have children. Give them to your family, leave your b/f, and go grow up before you have any more kids!

The kids can always visit daddy. Even though he sounds like someone you should keep your kids away from. The best thing you can do is to get yourself out of this unhealthy relationship. I wish you luck!
