Yes I do... As a matter of fact. I think that whatever or however the person commited the murder/crime, that is the same way they should be punished.

I know... many people say we should not judge, BUT someone has to, or else we would have horrible people running around like mad, AND...

NO Death Penalty = Overcrowded Prisons! = Problems for us.

Yes. I totally support the death penalty. I also believe that once a person is sentenced to death that the sentence should be carried out within a very short time. No appeals.

Yes-conditionally.
For acts of crime that mentally scars kids for life,(child prostitution, raping a kid, child porn vultures, etc.) as well as for crimes that were violent & premeditated,(like premeditated murder) ... if these crimes aren't treated in the harshest way posible they will continue on at the same rate they are commited now...as there isn't a serious price/consequence to make people think twice.
Whether we have the dealth penalty in this world or not the ultimate price on the whole is something society must foot the bill for. By not "zapping" the problem away we are basically saying "we'd rather pay for the criminals needs/therapy & well being" instead of dealing with the problem ONCE.
It's not a win-win situation either way in my opinion.

No I don't because God gives u life and he is the One who should take it back not the judge , the worse penalty should be all Ur life to stay in jail without any chance of getting out . In Romania in fact in Europe there is no death penalty because we have the Human Rights code in our laws and in that code it says(The human haves the Right to live) so...that's it ..nobody should take Ur life only God.

yes, if an indiviual has been proven unfit for society, then why should we, as that society, support and care for them (in prision) for the rest of there natural born lives. Some people spend as many as 60 years serving a life sentence. that cost of which is phenominal, and shouldered by us, the taxpayers. wouldn't that money be better spent on, let's say, paying teachers?

No. It's barbaric and not fit for a civilized society. Some innocent persons have suffered it. It is only punitive and merely exacts revenge. It does not reform society. It does not lower the murder rate. Jail them for life without parole.

Yes but it should be a hard option to get. As many checks as possible. We dont want unrepentant criminals in the streets. Killers and rapist in particular.

I used to be until my state (TN) wanted to execute someone who may not be guilty. All they have to do is a simple DNA test, but they won't do it. I've been against it ever since.
