The only traits of Cancer that I know is that we're sensitive and moody and that Taurus is our best love match. That kinda sucks (besides the Taurus thing) lol. Can anyone else tell me what the traits of Cancers are??? I'm curious bc I never really got into astrology and horoscopes and things. (My bday is July 21 idk if that makes a difference in anything)

Your birthday is on a cusp. You probably feel a lot of the qualities of the next incoming sign (Leo). Cancer's are the nurturer's in the zodiac; therefore, they tend to be more "motherly."
I am on the cusp of Gemini and Cancer. If you really want to know more about yourself, then when looking at astrological signs, you should definitely look at the ones that are on the cusps.

I am a cancer as well... I am very outgoing I am only shy when I first meet people -which is really only sometimes-usually I am the center of attention-wantin all eyes on me-but at the same time I am very private and secrective-I only let out what i want to be known.

I don't think that cancers are necessarily shy. Just that they wall their true feelings and self behind a protective layer. Bill Cosby and Robin Williams are both cancers, and I don't think they are shy. But has anyone really met the real Robin Williams? I wonder...
Taurus is nurturing and caring. So that works well with the cancers sensitive side.
Another good love match for a cancer is a scorpio. Cancers are sensitive, and scorpios are easily offended--so it works out. Plus, cancers and scorpios are both sex fiends.

My sister is a Cancer, she was married to a leo, ended in divorce after 17 years, he was 5 years older.
She married a scorpio he was 14 years younger, that ended in divorce after 5 years.
She loves her home, but is never in it. She is the sort of person that is always in the kitchen when you visit appearing to be busy but never actually does anything.
She now has a boyfriend 5 years older who she travels with all over europe. they go for 6 weeks at a time. She has 2 dogs and 2 cats which my Dad looks after but all she does is shout and moan at him, he is a Taurus. She is always spending on clothes, every other day. She is 53 but thinks she is 23.

Cancers are understanding, shy, protective, very sensitive and caring, passionate, creative, imaginative, and there is only 3 zodiacs that can be compatible with a Cancer, and they are Taurus, Capricorn and Pisces. Personally, I think Pisces is the best match, because they're sensitive to people's moods, and they'll know exactly what mood you're in and they'll talk to you and understand you. they are very sensitive and moody. however, very caring, warm, and honest. my boyfriend is a cancer sometimes he gets on my d@mn nerves with his moodiness but, he is my bestfriend and i love him dearly. I am a pisces by the way. I dont know about cancer's being too buddy buddy with taurus' because my boyfriends mother is a taurus and they can barely stand to be in the same room together.

cancers are moody, domesticated persons. they are very charismatic (like Princess Di) and warm. Don't get too caught up with that stuff though. I am cancer and like a taurus (is that really true?)

i am a cancer.the cancer supposebly should go with the sun.cancers tend to be curious a bit shy and often dont want to listen.we are with the element water which gives out the natural feeling of romanticness and we tend to always try to hel;p others before our own problems.
