hey i ve got my eyebrow pierced twice n both times my body rejected it in abt 6 mnth how can i prevent it?

Same thing happened to me and left me with about 7 nasty scars . I know you love it as i did mine, but unfortunitly your body will continue to reject it. If you decide to try again, Have the piercer pierce it deeper with more skin. But as i said beware it will leave some not so pretty scars. Good luck and i hope it works out.

I think if your body has rejected the piercing twice, it probably won't accept it a third time. Saying that how did you have the piercing done, and what type of jewelery was used? This could possibly make a different in how your body reacts. Second, by rejecting, do you mean the hole would not stay open or was it a rather nasty reaction?

Having a piercing done at a place that specifically does body art greatly reduces problems later on, and if problems do occur they are better at helping. If you decide to go through with it again I would have the piercing done by sterile needle, from there I would have a ring put in rather than a bar. You also need to keep the original ring in there for a long time. Perhaps you're changing jewelery too soon for your body, you could be a slow healer. When you do decided to change jewelery make sure you do not leave the hole empty for even a short amount of time as this will cause problems. I've had my nose pierced since 2003, and still can't go without a stud in it for longer than an hour or two.
