Wow watching a bit too much infotainment.

If you knew who she was and what she does in Germany you wouldn't ask.

So President Bush is flying to Germany to meet the Chancellor. This is normal. World leaders do it all of the time. When she flies to the states do you think that our President would not take her to Texas?

So he will sit in east Germany and have a few brats, smell some good beer and eat some kraut. In the end our two countries will have a better understanding of one and other.

I live in Germany as an American and i can tell you that we are very much alike. The only difference is that Germany's economy and government is the punchline in the joke that is social liberalism. Socialism is not good, you can see that here by the outrageous unemployment and social strife. Sure Germany is a nice place. Great for vacations, safe and clean. The People are warm and friendly. But that is not because social systems here it is because the people.

German parents have done a wonderful job teaching their kids to be polite and orderly, but failed on work ethic.

Read more about Germany, come visit. Take some pictures and drink some beer. You'll be glad you did and you will learn alot about what some people would like to turn America into. A welfare state.

Bush has no puppets.

Contrary to popular opinion, there are people who, from time to time, agree with him. They are not puppets, they simply agree on this issue or that. Watch the man, his managerial style is not like that. He tries to marshall support for an activity and controls those activities under his responsibility, but he has no puppets, he pulls no strings. Powell and Rumsfeld were often in disagreement, but Powell's speech to the United Nations was Powell's speech. Rumsfeld's actions were Rumsfeld's. Bush employed those two strong leaders not because they were toadies, lap dogs eager to do his will, but because they were strong and accomplished leaders in their own rights. Bush made the major decisions and each followed as their own reasoning and understanding permitted. Powell was ashamed to discover that the CIA information was flawed and saw that it hurt his credibility, so he left. Rumsfeld was unhappy with the results of some of his efforts, took his lumps and continued. These are people that Bush could have strings on, but didn't. How do you expect Bush would be pulling strings of foreign leaders like Merkel or Blair when he doesn't pull strings and arbitrarily force action of those for which he really could exercise arbitrary control? It is not his style.

Merkel was elected in her own country on her own agenda. No she's not President Bush's puppet. The level of stupid is increasing daily on here. The democridiots must really be worried about the election?

Merkel was elected by the German citizens, do you think we rigged their elections? They met this week and G. Bush was invited to Merkel's home, that was not a display of puppetry as much as it was an example of how other countries leaders are willing to listen to our President. Regardless of how the press hypes it G. Bush's "Cowboy" style suites most world leaders because he talks with honesty and compassion.
