Are you referring to the UK Government, the new ruling about second properties? If so,its no kidding! If you do not/are unable to keep it in good repair, even if you own the property outright,or it was bequeathed to you in a will, the Gov will possess it!AND give it to someone that needs housing! You will be compensated by the interest ONLY from the rental, but that's it! They will do the property up,rent it out,and after 7 years you will be able to have it back,BUT the money do to the property up will be charged to you,and deducted from any rental in the 7 year period! I hope I have that correct. What do I think of it? It stinks and is bang out of order! I thought the law of the land say's, if you take something which belongs to others, without permission, its theft! What are they doing??????? What are the British public doing about it? NOTHING!!!

I'm sorry, what?

Who is taking properties from whom? I can't say the government has asked for my house (or stolen it for that matter).

Are you ok? Been out in the sun for too long?
