I gotta say that Costner, while overall not the greatest actor, takes it on this one...
The most inspirational baseball flick of all time has got to be "Field of Dreams"
And the funniest, most provocative of all time would have to be "Bull Durham"

Im from Ireland and baseball is not big over here but i do like american sport's movies, Major League is a good comedy, The Rookie is also good, my favourite one is the one with Keanu Reeves coaching a team of inner city kid's, think it's called Hardball,

Bull Durham, hands down. I loved the Natural and Field of Dreams, but Bull Durham was the best.
A couple of Crash quotes:
"Relax, all right? Don't try to strike everybody out. Strikeouts are boring! Besides that, they're fascist. Throw some ground balls - it's more democratic."
"Man, that ball got outta here in a hurry. I mean anything travels that far oughta have a damn stewardess on it, don't you think?"

Hard Ball... if you want to watch kids playing baseball. And it's pretty sad in the end. Keanu Reeves actually shows emotion in this movie.
