plug in the iPod, turn it up, and sing at the top of my lungs. It may sound bad, but it sure does help!

For me it depends on if the stress is physical or mental. If it is mental and I have a lot on my mind it helps me to keep very busy, so I clean and cook etc. like crazy.
But for physical stress I relax with a movie or a good book or chat with friends, and then get some sleep. We all lead way to busy lives and should designate one day at least to rest and do what pleases us.

Go for a walk, go to the park, go to the pool, go for some yoga exercise. Find something relaxing. Go to a sauna, get a massage. Go on a shopping spree if you can afford it. Do something that will make you feel good and take your mind away from the stressful stuff for a while and allow you to regroup.

I agree Breath!!!
But also find yourself a quiet place and just imagine being somewhere different.. deserted island on a hammock a cool gentle breeze and all you hear is the ocean. This can be very relaxing.

I like to either just sleep it off. Or I listen to Alanis Morrisett Jagged Little Pill Album, esp if its about a guy, lol!
I sometimes like to drive and go to "MY" spot and relax there.
Kind of gets my mind off of things. Plus its an awesome spot to watch planes land :)
