You should be able to give it check up's your self!
Just make sure your virus app is always up to date, then just run a disk checking app every now and then.
To keep your system clean inside go and buy a small pc vacuum which will cost you $10 at the very most, this will enable you to get rid of any dust inside your system.
There are apps that wll check everything in your system and what they can't check you should be able to by opening the box.

If that is the only way you can be sure of keeping it in tip top shape, AND you trust the guy doing the work, then Yeah, I see no problem with that.
