It sounds ridiculous but people do that just about every day.

this is not a biggest reason that u lost ur friend which is with u 17 years
it may be some misunderstanding n u should clear it or tell her that u say bad n if she accept her mistake then ur all anger will disappear n u will with her as before
its a natural man will be hurt with some one when we not except the thing from that person so if u hurt its ur right to ask n if she not find her mistake then u leave her
because in that long period she not say n now say it means she wanted to destroy the relation u should clear
because religion is own n no one any need to interfair with others religion i think this is the best way

No, someone else did something bad, she didn't. I don't think you hold people responsible for others even if they are the same religion. Doing so would mean you could do the same with education level, ethincity, career, etc. It would be discrimination. Now, if the friend believes what they did was right and you don't, then you need to discuss it.

Absolutely not. None of us has control of anyone else in a group and some people who claim to a part of a certain religion are phonies and don't actually practice, which is no reason to blame anyone of the same religion liable. It would be like blaming everyone else that belonged to the same religion of the BTK Killer of the crime and holding them accountable for it.

No, although I might engage her in a conversation about what this other person did, and politely get her opinion on the person. This would help you resolve whether you wish to be associated with her or not. Nothing like discussing something that bothers you to clear the air. Figure out a neutral way to approach the subject that isn't argumentative, such as seeking her opinion on the matter.

No, of course not, whatever the other person does, it is the other person's fault. It has nothing to do with my close friend. Unless this close friend of mine is also practising this bad thing that you are talking about, I don't see any reason of holding her responsible.

That is honestly the most ignorant question I have ever heard in my life. Where is your common sense? Jebus' sake, are you an alien? Is this why you're asking human beings? JUST BECAUSE SOMEONE OF A CERTAIN RELIGION DOES SOMETHING BAD, LETS JUST KILL THEM ALL. How dumb does that sound?

Never. I dont belive in any religion. Its humans make mistakes. If any body in one religion makes mistake it does not mean that all in that religion are bad.

no. That makes no sense, if she had nothing to do with it, why would you hold her responsible? That's if someone with your same eye color did something, would we all hate you? No. So... I guess.... my answer is NO

Absolutely not! what kind of friend are you that you would hold her responsible for another person actions? that's very petty, maybe you should walk away from that friendship, she doesn't deserve you....
