They are getting hit from all sides at the age of 15 plus their hormones are getting the best of them, their curious and what to know, they want to be grown up before their time and maturity to accept the consequences, MTV said so, blah, blah, blah. 15 year olds think they know it all and they want it all NOW. At 15, your body is still growing and developing. Should you have sex, the possibilities for an STD or worse, pregnancy, is ever present. How does a 15 year old deal with that? And, more importantly, why should they have to? Yes, it's a time for growth, knowledge and experiences. Yes, they are curious. They should be asking questions and getting answers. But, too much curiosity can hurt and harm. And an STD or pregnancy is not a childhood situation.

Because their curious and don't know. Seems like it's better to seek advice, however it must be hard to have some of the reactions they get. I see serious questions on here from young girls that get belittled because they ask questions. You know... there's NO such thing as a dumb question. Everyone who answers a child's serious question with some dumb BS should be ashamed. They don't know and won't until they ask. Remember, adults weren't born with the knowledge of everything in life. We all learned through questions and experiences. Don't make them feel ashamed for not knowing. How would that make you feel? Probably not taken too seriously. Just my two cents.

Some of their so called friends are having sex; and saying how good it is. Then they come asking others for advice; thinking if its cool or not. Schools should develop and good sex education teaching them more about what is an appropriate age for sex, and also the pressure of the peers.

Because they have no parental guidance? Because they don't get a proper sex education from their parents or their school? Because of peer pressure? Because of ignorance?
