You give up, greive, then move on with your life. It takes two to make a marriage work. If he's not interested in making it work, there's nothing you can do to make him intersted.

You need to take action and go to counseling yourself. Once you are in counseling, your husband will either become curious or will change on his own. He will ask you what you told the councilor. You should ask your counselor if this is a good idea to share with your husband what you are talking about with her. Then, you can invite your husband to join you in counseling again. Hang in there, you are heading in the right direction!

If he is not willing, then he is not interested in saving the marriage. Look into a divorce or stay with things being the way the are. It is totally up to you at this point, that's what he telling you.

In order for your marriage to work, you both have to want that. If he is not willing to go to counseling, it sounds like he doesn't want to work on it. Or, he doesn't want to admit that there is a problem.
You should confront him and make him choose either counseling or the door.

You could keep asking for counseling but if he isn't into it then there really isn't much else you can do.

You didn't specify the "trouble" that could mean a bunch of different things.......Is it trust issue? sexual issue? money issue?
