when are they. i see on commercials and the website that they are july 16. but on sportscenter they are already talking about who won certain awards. whats going on?

the espy's actually took place last night, july 12 in los angeles, they will be aired on tape sunday night, july 16

They're coming up this weekend, July 16th.
