most adults have "been there, done that" and can give you advice from experience on what works and what doesn't.
an adults brain is fully developed where as a childs and teenagers is not. very young people do not have the life experience to rely on when making tough decisions. young people tend to live in the "now" and not take into consideration the ramifications of hasty decisions that do not take the future in to consideration. most young people think they know more than their parents and other adults who have been around alot longer
and have learn't from their mistakes already.
also most of the adults in your life that care about you will only have your best interests at heart so it is always a good idea to think over what they have suggested and if it is safe and will not compromise you in anyway then take the advice.
if you are smart you will learn from their mistakes instead of making your own.

Adults have more life experience and therefore are better able to advise and assist younger people in making decesions.
Everyone, as humans, learn from their mistakes. Adults have had longer lives than youth. That means they have had the opportunity to make more mistakes and learn from them.

as much as i hate to listen to adults..... they are smarter than we are and they can teach us alot. Adults have already done what we are just thinking about doing so they can give us some incite on how to approach it and how to make the right decision. I hate adults but i love the way they think.

calm down you're in ordinary words a delicate individual once you're older you'll understand. That suggested you likely imagine I do exactly not realize purely like you imagine your mom does no longer understand. the reality is we understand, we listen. you purely do not imagine adults understand because you don't get the solutions you want. In many years you'll look decrease back and say wow my mom fairly did understand what she became speaking about.

If I was doing a book report I would make my argument about how to recognize adults that we're not suppose to listen.
You will not listen to adults when they're trying to sell you drugs.
You will not listen to adults when they're trying to get you to help them find their puppy.
You will not listen to adults when they're trying to talk you into sexual act.
You will not listen to adults when they're drunk.

To listen shows respect. You need to respect adults so that you learn to respect others and then, one day, you can earn respect too.
