I won $1500 on a pull tab at a bingo. The most on a scratch off was $50 on a crossword scratch card.

$seven hundred on a horse the first time I guess on a race - this became six days after transferring to New Zealand. Of the 9 races, I picked the winner in 4 and my husband picked the winner in yet another 4. We under no circumstances gambled back in case we had wiped out our welcome in a unmarried afternoon!
