When I order my tacos fresco style during the day, I get them fresco style. When I order my tacos fresco style at night, I get regular tacos. It has happened three times. In fact, not once have they gotten it right at night. Last night I was so mad when I got home to find cheese on my tacos.

I know... I should check the order before leaving the restaurant. But I shouldn't have to remember to do that! I only go there because a Ranchero Chicken Soft Taco served fresco style has a reasonable number of calories and the tomatoes are tasty. Are there other reasonably healthy choices open late at night? Is there anything good at Wendy's or McDonald's?

I understand that sometimes you have to eat late at night, I don't get off work till 11 sometimes.

I know it some places Wendy's and McDonald's aren't open as late as Taco Bell, but if they are there are some ways to get healthy food there. At either place you can get a salad without dressing and have low fat dressing at home. Make sure you get one that doesn't have cheese or anything else that is higher in fat.

Also, you can go on the Taco Bell website and complain about the service you have received. I doubt it will change the problem, but at least they will know you're upset.

Good luck!

Explain to them what you mean by 'fresco style' sometimes they stick the people with the least amiount of work ethic on at night bc theres less business, and they don't care. Just explain exactly what you want, and if they still mess it up stop by a 24 hour grocery store at night and pick something up a salad, sandwhich, whatever your craving. I wouldn't recommend anything at McDonalds, bc i think its all crap.

Wow - sounds like you have a dingbat night crew not paying attention. Unfortunately there aren't many late night alternatives. You might want to make an extra effort to STRESS to the staff how you want your food prepared, but in a nice way. Just so it "sticks with them" without making them angry. You don't want to know what angry food prep people will do to your food when you're not looking :-).
And definitely check to bag before you leave.

Eating any fast food is not healthy. As well as eating late at night. Just calm down and go to sleep and get something in the morning, maybe they won't screw up your order. As for you're late night cravings try eating cereal or fruit.
