ok I work with computers in a college and have to fix them on a day to day basis, well I have a 3.5 hardrive Enclosure which I use a lot but every time I connect a new hard drive to it I have to get the the connection and locate the correct way they go in , it does not take me long but watching 'Smallville - 3x11 - Delete' episode the computer tech girl had a device which you just push the drive in to it and its neat would love to own one on my desk would make things easier and tidier do they exist if so where would I find one?

I run a PC repair business part time and just picked this unit up:

Although it is not a true hot swapable, it is a USB 2.0 device, so you can simply unplug it and and swap out the drive.

I left the two small screws out so that the enclosre just slides out easily. Takes about 30 seconds to swap drives.

You would need to get a hotpluggable enclosure. I'm not sure if any exist or if it was just a TV thing, but I recommend searching http://www.pricegrabber.com/ (or your favorite tech products site)
