Don't have a cow, man, but it's "The Simpsons"! Can't exactly explain why, but it is really funny!! Maybe it is because Homer can suprise you by accidentally doing something smart by acting stupid, or maybe it is the plot twists. Or maybe everyone sees a little of Bart in themselves when they were that age (Or maybe it just makes you feel better because your family is not quite as bad as they are.).
Actually, "Calvin and Hobbs" was the best comic strip ever, but the writer is retired. It was a very realistic view into a young child's mind, and it was extremely clever (and his father was a Patent Attorney, like me).
I suppose "Futrurama" (by the creator of The Simpsons) was really funny when it first came out, but they went downhill fast and got canceled.
And "Dilbert" gets honorable mention, since I used to be an Engineering geek (before I became a Patent Attorney). It is not always funny, though.
I used to want to be Snoopy when I was a child, so "Peanuts" gets mentioned, even though I think that I outgrew the humor long ago.

Animaniacs: Why? Because they were funny AND intelligent. A hard combo to find. It was Editorial Cartoons for TV. No one was safe, right wing, left wing, Hollywood, (even the show's creator/producer Steven Spielberg was made fun of) extremists of all types, Barney, Jerry Lewis... And of course there was always the plain old classic slapstick humor too. All around good fun.

Justice League. I know this will probably bring a grim on your faces, but since I am a lead designer and graphic artist, I can understand the work that goes into making a cartoon, plus this cartoon brings togheter some of my favourite toon heroes.

What about Get Fuzzy, the comic strip. The drawing is top notch and all the jokes are clever. It reminds me of Bloom County.

My current favorite cartoon is Dexter's Labatory. I think Dexter is cute and I just love the way he talks. I like seeing him get mad at his sister Dee Dee who is very annoying.

the simpsons. it is a show that people of all ages can watch and it has great satire and comedy about pop culture, society, and politics. the show is well written and the characters are hilarious.

Ed, edd, and eddy. Those boys are so funny. The plot moves so fast, that it took me a couple of episodes to figure them out, but they are typical boys!
