what do I do if people call me four eyes because of glasses?

Because they're ignorant. These are the people who will be bagging your groceries and pumping your gas later in life. Try not to let it get to you now. I am sure you are lovely!

This is just one of those things we have to deal with in school. If you ignore them, you will take all of the fun out of teasing you, so that is the way to go! It will take a while for them to stop, but hang in there. Also, i have found that once you have had your glasses for a few months to a year, they are so used to them that they don't even notice them on you anymore. They just become a part of you.
**** I am not saying this so you can run away from your problem.. but contact lenses are really great. I have had them for a few years and I LOVE THEM! You don't have to worry about things like:
breaking your glasses
cleaning glasses
wiping the stupid rain off of them
them fogging up
BEING CALLED FOUR EYES!

There are many other things you are going to be teased about in life and learning to ignore it is a very good habit to learn! =) Just hang in there, I understand what you are going through!

Ignore them. If wearing glasses really makes you uncomfortable, get contacts. My glasses never fit right so when I was in ~10th grade I got my 1st pr of contacts. It's been great since then. They are not as expensive as you may think. Wal -Mart gives contact exams for ~$100 and the contacts I get are ~$16 per box (6 contacts to a box)

I'd suggest you ignore them. Four Eyes is an old term which was used by people without glasses to denigrate, run down or make fun of other people who wore glasses.

Consider people who use that term as bullies, and govern yourself accordingly.

Calling someone four eyes because they wear glasses is as old as the first pair of glasses - very unoriginal! Ignore them if you can, or ask them what's their point? Hopefully after they reach puberty they will outgrow such childish remarks.

They're just being ignorant. Just say that 4 eyes are better than 2. Besides, glasses are more like an accessory now. You can get different color and styles to match your outfit AND they can protect your eyes.

Hehehe, but no, tell them that glasses are not dumb anymore, some people look really good in them. They look smart and intelligent and even some people wear glasses just to be a part of the fashion trend. So don't worry too much, I wear glasses too and I don't feel anything weird about it! =)

I had one kid call me four-eyes in elementary school once. I turned to him and said with all the confidence I could muster "Oh that's real original, you couldn't think of a better one?" He turned red, and became very quiet.

Give it a try, but remember, for it to work you have to sound and look very confident (even if you're just pretending).

Tell them "You need to use TWO Glasses because You coulden't Differentiated between Glasses & eyes.
& give smile to that person, If you become Angery then they'll try to pass more comment towards you........!

Give them a long silent look, and then a long sigh, as if to say silently, "How immature." Then ignore them.

By the way, girls can look beautiful in glasses - you don't have to wear contacts.

If you have a male friend whose opinion you trust, maybe you can take him the next time you change eyeglass frames and get his opinion.
