In yahoo answers, you can edit your response. I think you should just be able to submit, one click and then edit if necessary. I think two clicks just to post a message is unnecessary clicking. What do you think?

When your in the area typing responses, they should give you the option to either preview or just submit it without previewing...It can be annoying.

Nope. I've noticed mistakes I've made in a response and preview gives me the time to go over and fix it without anyone seeing my screw-up.

I think another reason they must have it, is because they hope people will read over what they wrote and possible re-think it before sending it.

I always go through my answers in the preview. I want to see how it looks and how it sounds and find my mistakes so I can fix them. It would be easier with just one click so maybe one day it will go to that.

I agree with you. Most of the time, if I notice I've made a typo or something, I don't notice it in Preview, I notice it when it's posted. And then I just edit it.

Yes. Yahoo spellcheck is not always accurate in the context of a post.

If I mis-type. "Moo are wrong." Spellcheck says "no mispellings"
If I type know for no, OK.
I can correct it after preview. You are wrong.. or no.

If one edits after post, you get two emails. Like now.

I dont think there is a need for a preview button unless we can style our text or post in html.

But i think it does act as a good deterrent for spammers.

the preview button is redundant because you can proof read after you type it, before you preview. and it's not like anyone cares about grammar or spelling on this thing. get rid of it. there's even a spell check button on top !
